Emmanuel Lewis Photos: Webster, a former star Emmanuel Lewis, who befriended the singer Michael Jackson in the 1980s, has been deeply affected by the singer’s death on Thursday afternoon.

Attempts to reach Lewis Celebuzz through his agent, Mike Esterman, have been passed to Emmanuel. When we contacted for follow-up today Esterman said he had received a text message saying Emmanuel Jackson’s death is “very personal and very emotional” and he is “truly devastated right now.”

Jackson, died Thursday afternoon after suffering a heart attack at his home in Los Angeles. An autopsy is being performed today.
