KARACHI,Pakistan news: The fire on the shops, stretched from Bolton to Light House markets and adjoining areas, is still raging and has not been completely tamed even after collapse of three days meanwhile, the process of debris removal of the burnt goods and materials from the fire site is underway on Thursday.
According to fire fighting sources, the process of extinguishing fire is still in progress even as many as 50 hours have gone past yet the deadly blaze has not been completely extinguished besides, the cooling process is also continued.
A total of 3 snorkels and over 15 fire tenders are engaged in bringing the fire under control but due to congested streets and closely location of shops, fire fighters are facing hard challenges in the line of duty, sources said.
Moreover, It is worth to mention the victimized shop owners and workers are trying hard to get some useful items out of ashes of burnt material in order to obtain some money in exchange of them.
They have also lodged appeal to government of Pakistan for extension of financial support so that they could successfully emerge out of crisis scenario, sources informed media.
