Russell Crowe gets his Hollywood Walk of Fame star

Academy Award winner Russell Crowe was honoured with a star on Hollywood’’s Walk of Fame on Monday.

The actor was joined by his wife Danielle and kids, Charlie, 6, and Tennyson, 3, at the glittering event, reports The Sydney Morning Herald.

Crowe had turned down the star several times before, but now believes at 46 and with two Oscar nominations and one win behind him, he now has a big enough filmography to justify the honour.

Crowe and Spencer married in 2003 after dating for two years. The couple originally dated in the early Nineties after co-starring in film The Crossing together, before reigniting their romance in 2001 after Crowe split from Meg Ryan.

Sigourney Weaver has attacked Oscar voters, saying James Cameron didn”t land the Best Director Oscar gong because he “didn”t have breasts.”

Cameron lost out the Oscar to his ex-wife, “The Hurt Locker” director Kathryn Bigelow, reports The New York Post.

Jesse James’ mistress Michelle McGee has offered ‘a heartfelt apology’ to Sandra Bullock.

UsMagazine.com reports that the tattooed model has opened up to Australian TV show ‘TodayTonight’ in a new interview in which she expresses her remorse for allegedly carrying on an 11-month affair with James.

“I do feel guilty. I feel bad for Sandra,” the New York Daily News quoted her as saying.

“I”m sorry for your embarrassment. I”m sorry all this is public. I”m sorry for everything,” she added.

McGee also slammed James for claiming he was separated from Bullock when they first became intimate.

“I feel like I was duped just as much as Sandra was. I feel like I was lied to just as much as she was. If Jesse was upfront with me in the beginning, we wouldn”t be in this situation,” she said.

McGee said she understands what the actress, 45, is going through.
