Akshay Katrina Kaif, Staeere De Dana Dan To Realease On Friday: We all know to Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif as successful actresses. Akshay Kumar is working with both of them when they were new in film Industry. They have given many superhits together. It is said that Akshay Kumar is very helping in nature and there was a great support of him to both costars. But Akshay is not taking any credit of making them a superstar.

Akshay said that everybody is not Katrina or Priyanka. They have their own talent. He said that I am very happy to be their mentor but I am not a professional Guru.

Biggest Loser Season 8

We’ve been anxiously awaiting the 8th season of The Biggest Loser. Following our very own New Englander Rudy Pauls will be exciting. Let’s hope he goes the distance.

The Players

Some of the contestants include Daniel (Dan) a 20- year old contestant from Season 7, who at the time was the heaviest contestant ever weighing in at 454 pounds. He has lost 142 pounds but the show wanted to help him lose more. Amanda is a 20-year old nursing student. Danny, 39, was a rock star at 17. He is married with children.

Sean is 29 and a youth pastor with 2 children and 1 on the way. He will find out later in the show that he has type 2 diabetes and never knew it.  Alexandra is a 20- year old college student who can’t fit into her classroom seat. Liz is a 49- year old grandmother. MO, 56,  was a football player who is now a coach with 6 children.

Tracey is a 37- year old homemaker who gained 100 pounds with her first child. Dina, 28, a custodian wants another child but can’t because of her weight.  Rebbecca is a 35 year old nanny. Rudy Pauls is a 31- year old engineer from Connecticut.  Abbey‘s husband, baby, and little girl were killed in a car accident 2 ½ years ago. Antoine is 30- years old. Julio, 40, is a mortgage loan officer with 2 girls at home to whom he is committed to live.

Alison Sweeney met the bus and immediately gave the contestants their challenge. The reward was immunity and choosing a partner for the show who would also have immunity.

The Challenge

Their challenge was to run a mile. Truly running a mile is a daunting task even for those of us who are fit but who don’t run. Most couldn’t compete and walked or just gave up. Dan though had the advantage as a former contestant and someone who has been working out. He came in first. Medics were on hand as two contestants,  MO and Tracey, were taken to the hospital by helicopter.

The Teams

Dan started off by picking Shay, a 30-year old social worker who told a heart breaking story of being in foster care after being homeless with a heroine addicted mother. She is now the heaviest person in the history of The Biggest Loser weighing in at 46 pounds.

Teams were picked. Just to name a few we have Dan who picked Shay  because she is the biggest person as he had been.  Alexandra picked Julio. Alan, 44 picked Abby because she is a fighter. Amanda  picked Rebbecca. Antoine chose Shawn, Liz picked Danny, and Rudy picked Dina.

MO and Tracey still in the hospital were the last team. MO came back but Tracey was in the hospital for the entire show. The weigh- in was devastating for the contestants. Most didn’t know what they weigh. They were shown the beautiful gym and introduced to the trainers.

The Work Out

The contestants went to their first workout. The teams will be training with both trainers this time. Almost immediately they hate Jillian and Bob who push them relentlessly.  Shay was screamed and sworn at.  She walked out after Julian told her to “Get on the ladder and climb for 20 seconds.” After thinking a bit she came back.

The contestants went to a medical facility for more medical testing because most of them are so large.  They found out just how sick they are.

Back at  the ranch the contestants had the last chance workout.  For those who are not used to intense exercise vomiting is a result and not all that uncommon even for people who aren’t training with lunatics!  The contestants though are starting to realize that being pushed beyond their limits is alright.

Spoiler Alert!!

The first weight in: Only one member of a team will be going home. Rudy lost 28 pounds! Dina lost 8 pounds giving them another week at the ranch.

Jillian shares that if she had gone through what Abby went through she would think about killing herself. She said that the contestants should learn just how strong they can be.

Alexandra and Julio were the losing team and each had to convince the rest that he/she should not be voted off. The eliminated player was Alexandra. Contestants thought that she would be able to go home and more easily lose weight on her own than Julio.
