WASHINGTON: Top US military officer Admiral Mike Mullen said on Tuesday that US forces were under strain from fighting wars in Afghanistan and Iraq but were not at a “tipping point.”
U.S. Forces Under Pressure MullenThe mental fitness of American troops has come under intense scrutiny after a shooting rampage at Fort Hood by an army psychiatrist this month and amid a rise in suicides and depression.

Suicides in the US Army are on track to reach a new high this year.

With 140 suspected cases reported among active duty soldiers since the start of 2009, the number of suicides was already at last year’s level, the army’s vice chief of staff, General Peter Chiarelli, told reporters on Tuesday.

But Mullen told a gathering of top business executives that he stood by a previous comment that the military was not at a breaking point despite two protracted wars.

“I still even subsequent to that don’t think we’re near a tipping point but,” he said at the event sponsored by the Wall Street Journal, adding, “I would not want to understate the seriousness of the stress issue for individuals and for families.”

As chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mullen said “the health of the force” was one of his top priorities and that he also had been impressed with the resilience displayed by many soldiers and families.

The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division, the lead agency investigating the shooting, said all evidence gathered so far points toward Hasan allegedly acting alone.

“At this time, we have one alleged suspect connected to this mass shooting,” said Chris Grey, a spokesman for the division. “We have not established a motive for the shootings at this time.”

The shooting at the largest military base in the U.S. left another 30 wounded, officials said. The carnage could have been worse as the suspect stormed a crowded waiting room, reloading and firing more than 100 rounds from a semi-automatic machine pistol with an extended magazine, officials also said.

The investigation, which is led by a joint task force that includes local police as well as the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, involves more than 170 interviews of witnesses and victims, Grey said.

Hasan, whose deployment date was set for “late November to Afghanistan,” and 17 others remain hospitalized, Rossi said. “Ten of those, including the suspect, are in ICU,” he said.

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar Meaning

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar Meaning:  The phrase ‘Allahu Akbar’ is the opening statement of every Islamic prayer is a motto that was prescribed by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to the mujahids of Islam. The meaning of this sentence has been explained by Imam Sultan Muhammad Shah, also known as Aga Khan III, 1 as follows:
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar Meaning
“Consider for example the opening statement of every Islamic prayer:” Allahu Akbar. “What does that mean? There can be no doubt that the second word of the declaration the character of God compared to a matrix that contains all and gives existence to infinity space, while, the Universe, to all active and passive forces imaginable, to life and soul. “

The universe is the physical manifestation of the will of Allah. “All we can see, feel, hear, touch and smell shows the greatness of God. We marvel at the inventions of humans. For example, computers have changed our thinking and conduct our daily activities. However, this machine has very limited power to process information compared to the capacity of the human mind. Human beings process large amounts of information through its continuously senses. When we compare our skills with the forces of nature, we realize that God is great and its creation is infinite.

Every human being has a physical, spiritual and intellectual existence. Islam teaches that the soul is eternal and omnipresent universal as the following quote by Imam Sultan Muhammad Shah2:

“Islamic doctrine goes further than other major religions to proclaim the presence of the soul, perhaps minute but nevertheless existing in an embryonic state in all existence in matter, in animals, trees, and space . Every individual, every molecule, every atom has its own spiritual relationship with the Almighty God Soul. But men and women, being more highly developed, are immensely more advanced than the infinite number of other people we know. Islam recognizes the existence of angels, the great souls who have developed themselves to the highest possible levels of the human soul and higher, and that are centers of forces that are dispersed throughout the universe. Without going so far as Christianity, Islam recognizes the existence of evil spirits who seek through their secret suggestions to turn us well, that way Stáit traced by the finger of God for eternal happiness of the humblest as of the greatest – Abraham, Jesus, Muhammad. “

The soul is present in atoms, molecules, plants, animals, human beings and space. Human beings consist of billions of atoms and Islam teaches that the soul is present in every atom. To develop your inner self, it is necessary to awaken the soul through the invocation of Allah on an ongoing basis. These spiritual exercises create an inner awakening and lead to overall development of human potential.

Allahu Akbar often recited:

1. At the beginning of the prayer of Hazrat Bibi Fatima (PBUH);
2. When animals are slaughtered, and
3. For the mujahids of Islam.

Muslims addition, the Holy Prophet encouraged to pray this prayer, according to the following hadith3:

“Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger said:” To say: Glory to Allah, Praise Allah, no god but Allah is the greatest, is dearer to me than all the sun rises. “

But esoterically this prayer plays an important role in the spiritual elevation of human beings because it invokes the help of Hazrat Izra’il ‘(PBUH), the angel of death and resurrection. Through this activity, Izra’il Hazrat ‘(peace be upon him) awakens your inner dimension. Then you can see the greatness of Allah in an intellectually and spiritually in the soul and intellect, and experience monoreality. This is why rational believers participate in the remembrance of God day and night.
