Anthony Johnson vs Josh Koscheck fight video, Anthony Johnson vs. Josh Koscheck Video – UFC 106. By mmavideos. Anthony “Rumble” Johnson fights Josh Koscheck @ UFC 106 Ortiz vs. Griffin II from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, NV. … Great fight, minus the eyepokes.
I was personally hoping for G.S.P. to annihilate Hardy so I can see this Rumble/G.S.P. fight, but now I can’t WAIT for Hardy to get whooped and see Koscheck face G.S.P. for the title.

Ufc 106 Results: latest news about, The Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin main event just ended and we have the complete UFC 106 results ready to go.
Everyone saw the controversial decision in the first Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin fight and the judges’ decision in the second is equally head-scratching according to these UFC 106 results. Forrest Griffin took the decision 30-27, 29-28, and 28-29 although most thought he lost the first two rounds before coming back and dominating in the 3rd when Tito looked gassed.
Anthony “Rumble” Johnson swung hard against Josh “Kos” Koscheck but the knockout artist could not overcome Koscheck’s wrestling (and eye pokes) as “Rumble” was choked out in the 2nd via rear naked choke. The UFC 106 results show both fighters connected with hard punches but Johnson could never stop the 2nd round takedown attempts.
Other UFC 106 results show that it did not take Antonio Rogerio Nogueira “Minotauro” Nogueira very long at all to dispatch top light heavyweight title contender Luis “Banha” Cane and the brother of the former interim heavyweight champion knocked out Cane in the 1st round.
Amir Sadollah battered Phil “The New York Bad Ass” for 3 rounds and easily won the decision. These UFC 106 results were not unexpected after Sadollah used a steady stream of kicks and defense to tire out the hard-hitting Baroni.
The last UFC 106 results of the main card had Paulo Thiago getting a well deserved decision victory against UFC-newcomer Jacob “Christmas” Volkmann. Thiago knocked down Volkmann a few times but “Christmas” never quit and had a decent chance to tap Paulo with a choke before the Brazilian pulled out to seal the victory.
The Spike TV UFC 106 results had Kendall “Da Spyder” Grove choking out wrestler Jake Rosholt by triangle in the 1st round and Ben “Killa B” Saunders giving the first career knockout to Marcus “The Irish Hand Grenade” Davis following some killer Saunders’ knees.

Ufc 106 Results, Ufc 106 Live Stream Free: latest news aboout, In a rematch of their memorable 2006 fight in Anaheim, former UFC light-heavyweight champions Tito Ortiz of Huntington Beach and Forrest Griffin of Las Vegas renewed acquaintances in Ortiz’s UFC comeback fight following a contract split last year.
Griffin dominated the third and final round, blitzing Ortiz with hard rights to the face and combinations that included hard shots to the body and tough kicks to the left leg. Ortiz was cut under the left eye in the round and sustained some good combinations.
The judges saw it like this: split-decision win for Griffin.
Ortiz, as usual, had a memorable ring entrance with Eminem blaring at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, waving the American flag.
First round:
Ortiz takes a right standing up, but charges and lands a right. Ortiz takes down Griffin and tries to ground and pound with some elbows flying. Griffin gets up, the pair end up reversing each other against the cage.
Griffin kicks Ortiz in the left leg, like he did against Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. Griffin hits Ortiz with a right-left combo punch to face. Ortiz misses a takedown. Both guys jab.
I give the round to Griffin.
Second round:
Ortiz takes down Griffin, smacks him with elbows. Griffin gets back up. Griffin kicks Ortiz in the mouth, knocking out Tito’s mouthpiece. Tito takes down Griffin again, Griffin playing defense on ground versus former CIF champion wrestler.
Ortiz sends some elbows and fists to Griffin’s face on the mat. Griffin’s cut under the left eye, and now has a nasty cut at the right eye. Gushing everywhere. Griffin reverses Ortiz, trying to win round. Some pushing post-bell.
I give the round to Ortiz.

The co-main event, a welterweight clash pitting San Jose fighters Anthony Johnson and Josh Koscheck, will put the winner in prime position for a title shot at champion Georges St-Pierre.
Koscheck initially got the better of stand-up striking exchanges before Johnson popped in two jabs. Johnson slipped a clench, but then committed a rule-breaking violation by sending a right knee toward Koscheck’s head.
Kneeing on the mat, Koscheck appeared to have got his arm up in time to deflect the blow toward his right eye. Referee Mario Yamasaki stopped the action and deducted a point from Johnson for the illegal knee. A ringside doctor was summoned and reported to the ref that Koscheck had “blurry vision as a result of the foul.”
Still, the fight resumed and Koscheck turned to wrestling. Johnson was seen with a small cut over the left eye.
In the second round, Johnson was poked in the left eye twice in the first minutes. Both fighters had a lively exchange of blows in the center of the octagon. Koscheck got Johnson on his back and sent a few damaging elbows to the 25-year-old’s head.

Election Day November 2009
latest News Updated, Election Day November 2009: Last year every group in the country was geared up to get out the vote. This year, not so much as the off year election cycle comes to a close with Election Day 2009 – November 3, 2009.
Where I live in upstate NY, there are a handful of interesting items and posts to vote on. I live in the Town of Union and we are voting on county clerk and a town justice. In Broome County, the most interesting vote going on will be the one facing the residents of the Village of Johnson City. They are voting whether to dissolve the village or not.
NYS has two constitutional amendments on the ballot statewide. The first amendment is to allow the state to trade forest lands with National Grid. Other than the fact that National Grid has already used the land prior to the vote, there does not seem to be a down side to this vote. The state will get more land than it gives up and this will benefit the Adirondack Park.
The second amendment allows the legistlature to pass legislation to allow prisoners in state and local prisons to do volunteer work for non-profits. I have a problem with this as, whether it appears to be volunteer or not, I am not sure that our non-profits are where prisoners should be. I am really torn on this amendment. First, I do not know if this is what inmates should be doing. Second, I hate giving legislators more power than they already have.
Probably, the two results I am going to be closely following tomorrow are two in which I cannot vote. I am watching what happens in the Village of Johnson City. Why, you may ask, since I don’t live in the village? I live in the greater Town of Union and that is the municipality that will take over the Village of Johnson City if the voters approve dissolution. I do not see folding a village into the town as a good thing for the town. There is a reason there is a village of Johnson City.
The other election I am intrigued by is one that could, and has in the past, warranted its own posts. I may still manage one on it later. That election is the special election for the 23rd Congressional district in upstate NY. The district was left without representation when President Obama tapped John McHugh as Secretary of the Army. The election, until October 31st, was a three way election between a sitting NYS assemblywoman who was the Republican nominee, a businessman who is the Conservative nominee and an unknown Democrat nominee. The NYS assemblywoman, when it was clear that she was not going to win, actually withdrew from the contest on Saturday. Unfortunately for the Conservative nominee, ballots cannot be reprinted in that amount of time so people may still vote for her. This district, which is larger than some states, has been Republican for decades. On top of that, its congressional representative is one of only three Republicans in the NYS delegation.
