Ufc 106 Results, Ufc 106 Live Stream FreeGriffin dominated the third and final round, blitzing Ortiz with hard rights to the face and combinations that included hard shots to the body and tough kicks to the left leg. Ortiz was cut under the left eye in the round and sustained some good combinations.

The judges saw it like this: split-decision win for Griffin.

Ortiz, as usual, had a memorable ring entrance with Eminem blaring at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, waving the American flag.

First round:

Ortiz takes a right standing up, but charges and lands a right. Ortiz takes down Griffin and tries to ground and pound with some elbows flying. Griffin gets up, the pair end up reversing each other against the cage.

Griffin kicks Ortiz in the left leg, like he did against Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. Griffin hits Ortiz with a right-left combo punch to face. Ortiz misses a takedown. Both guys jab.

I give the round to Griffin.

Second round:

Ortiz takes down Griffin, smacks him with elbows. Griffin gets back up. Griffin kicks Ortiz in the mouth, knocking out Tito’s mouthpiece. Tito takes down Griffin again, Griffin playing defense on ground versus former CIF champion wrestler.

Ortiz sends some elbows and fists to Griffin’s face on the mat. Griffin’s cut under the left eye, and now has a nasty cut at the right eye. Gushing everywhere. Griffin reverses Ortiz, trying to win round. Some pushing post-bell.

I give the round to Ortiz.

The co-main event, a welterweight clash pitting San Jose fighters Anthony Johnson and Josh Koscheck, will put the winner in prime position for a title shot at champion Georges St-Pierre.

Koscheck initially got the better of stand-up striking exchanges before Johnson popped in two jabs. Johnson slipped a clench, but then committed a rule-breaking violation by sending a right knee toward Koscheck’s head.

Kneeing on the mat, Koscheck appeared to have got his arm up in time to deflect the blow toward his right eye. Referee Mario Yamasaki stopped the action and deducted a point from Johnson for the illegal knee. A ringside doctor was summoned and reported to the ref that Koscheck had “blurry vision as a result of the foul.”

Still, the fight resumed and Koscheck turned to wrestling. Johnson was seen with a small cut over the left eye.

In the second round, Johnson was poked in the left eye twice in the first minutes. Both fighters had a lively exchange of blows in the center of the octagon. Koscheck got Johnson on his back and sent a few damaging elbows to the 25-year-old’s head.

Paquiao Vs Cotto Results: Now there can be no doubt that Manny Pacquiao is the best pound for pound in the world after the launch on Saturday with a dominant victory over world welterweight champion Miguel Cotto.
Paquiao Vs Cotto Results
Manny stopped in Puerto Rico, 55 seconds into the round of 12 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. As the bell went for the start of the struggle a huge roar rose from the crowd. Cotto caught Pacquiao with a shot in the head. Miss Congeniality 2

Miss Congeniality 2: Miss Congeniality 2 may prove to be the most difficult film critics will have to review this year. Not because it’s so great there aren’t words – oh no; and not because it’s so awful, either. Rather, it’s because there hasn’t been another film released in 2005 that hits its mark so squarely that there’s really nothing to say after it’s over.
Miss Congeniality 2
A movie of unsurpassed mildness, the film exudes middle-of-the-road, family-friendly spunk, targets comedic chestnuts older than William Shatner’s hairpiece, and manages to project itself squarely into the ranks of sure-fire successes, all without moving a single follicle of formula out of place.

Sandra Bullock reprises her role as Gracie Hart, the onetime field agent-turned-pageant queen, who now struggles to return to the anonymity that made her such a valuable commodity to the FBI. Realizing that her celebrity is likely to endanger herself and her colleagues (an admirer asks for an autograph during a holdup), she reluctantly agrees to become the spokesperson for the bureau and joins up with a new stylist named Joel (played by Diedrich Bader) to make the rounds on the talk-show circuit.

Despite being partnered with an angry agent trainee named Sam Fuller (Regina King), Gracie enjoys her figurehead position, preening on camera with beauty tips and a penchant for pithy aphorisms. But when her best pal Cheryl (Heather Burns) and pageant MC Stan Fields (William Shatner) are kidnapped, Gracie begins to realize just how much of a liability her newfound fame has become. She arrives in Las Vegas to put a happy face on the tragedy, but soon learns that the local authorities are uncooperative with an agent who seems more interested in face time with Regis than facing down bad guys. With little other choice than to work together with her reluctant bodyguard Fuller, Gracie returns to the fray to rescue her friend and remember what inspired her to become an agent in the first place.

Much like last fall’s excruciating Bridget Jones sequel, Miss Congeniality 2 casts aside the pretense of character development and distills the ’successful’ elements of its predecessor into one potent comedic formula. The difference here is that the essence of the story – about a frumpy agent finding herself rather than a fat girl embracing her neuroses – is imminently compelling, and actually requires little tinkering to generate new story possibilities. The bad news, such as it is in the context of a Miss Congeniality sequel (bad in and of itself to hapless boyfriends), is that the filmmakers don’t take the characters anywhere new, unless Vegas counts.

Congeniality, Miss Congeniality: One Auburn student dressed as Miss Alabama on Halloween, except her outfit was not a costume. Audrey Moore was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2010 as well as Miss Congeniality at the Wright Center Concert Hall in Birmingham.
Congeniality, Miss Congeniality“Winning Miss Alabama was the most exciting feeling of my life,” said Moore, sophomore in communication disorders. “I cried and screamed. It was overwhelming.” The Miss Congeniality award was voted on by the other candidates who voted Moore as the most charismatic and inspirational participant.

“I went in with the goal to win,” Moore said. “But I wanted to look back on it and have a good time and make friends as well.” According to the press release, Moore received a prize package including an all expense paid trip to represent Alabama at the Miss USA competition.

It will be April 18, 2010, at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
“I hired a new coach to prepare me for Miss USA,” Moore said. “I will spend the next few months training while traveling all over the state to promote the official causes of Miss USA, including breast and ovarian cancer.”

Moore said she did not know much about pageants, except for winning Miss Greek Week and Miss Glomerata and decided to enter last minute. She said she is just a typical Auburn student and did not want to miss the Ole Miss game.

“Audrey was more of a tomboy than a beauty queen growing up,” said Lisa Moore, Audrey’s mother. “She never participated in a pageant until high school and she had to enter as a fundraiser for cheerleading. She is more of the outdoors-y type.”

Moore said she hired a personal trainer at the Student Act to prepare for the swimsuit competition and watched the news to be informed for the interview questions. She hired a coach to help her with her swimsuit walk.

“Miss Alabama was a whole new experience for me,” Moore said. “I competed before, but I had no idea how to walk across a stage in a swimsuit.” Moore said Auburn University gave her the confidence to compete after winning two pageants here.

She said being interviewed in the many organizations she is involved in here, such as Pi Beta Phi, Lambda Sigma, Auburn Modeling Board and Student Government Association, prepared her for the interview portion.

Leah Ignagni, McNair’s

October 20, 2009 by lee

Leah Ignagni, McNair’s: Nashville police have released new details about the investigation into Steve McNair’s murder that show Sahel Kazemi had asked McNair for money and sent text messages about needing to be with him in the few days prior to their deaths on July 4.
Leah Ignagni
The details were released in the middle of a two-part series aired on CBS’ Early Show criticizing the police investigation into the murder-suicide, although police officials have been working on a summary report of the investigation for several weeks.
Police ruled the shooting deaths a murder-suicide several days after the bodies were found at a downtown condo off Second Avenue in downtown Nashville. McNair was shot four times, and Kazemi died from a single gunshot to the head. Neither had any defensive wounds, and police believe McNair was asleep.

Investigators concluded that Kazemi, 20, was drowning in debt and despondent over realizations that McNair was dating other women and wasn’t going to leave his wife for her.

Metro police spokesman Don Aaron declined to comment on anything contained in the 14-page report. The CBS report stated that Kazemi had more than $2,500 in the bank, contradicting the police explanation that Kazemi was distraught over money and the unraveling relationship. But text messages between the two suggest that $2,000 of that money came from McNair on the evening before his murder.

According to the summary report, Kazemi’s former roommate and ex-boyfriend told investigators that Kazemi was fielding calls from bill collectors and struggling to pay the nearly $800 car note and the full $1,000 rent after the roommate moved out.

When Kazemi went with McNair to Las Vegas, friend Emily Andrews told police, she first learned that Kazemi was having financial difficulties.

“Andrews said she and another friend paid Kazemi’s expenses because Kazemi had only $32,” the report said.

Early in the morning on July 3, she texted McNair saying she might have a breakdown because she’s so stressed. He responded, telling her everything was going to be okay.

“Baby I need to pay the cellphone bills n the hospital.can you transfer 2000 to my acc (sic)”, the text message said.

Then, nine minutes later, she said she may need to go to the hospital because she can hardly breathe.

A few hours later, she told McNair she wanted to pay some bills before she went to work because they were stressing her out. He assured her he had a guy transferring the money.

Chris Wall, who provided security for McNair’s family, told investigators that McNair had gotten increasingly annoyed with his relationship with Kazemi. She often called him when he was with his wife and children, according to Wall, and he was getting tired of it. He had slowed down the relationship and was seeing her less often, Wall said.

A Nashville woman named Leah Ignagni also told police she had been dating McNair and, in the weeks before his death, she had left the Lea Avenue condo and was followed home by a woman in a black Escalade.

Kazemi, 1:14 a.m.: its open

Kazemi, 2:23 a.m.: im going to the store*

Investigators say the last text message appears out of sequence, and it was received by McNair’s phone at 2:23 a.m. but on Kazemi’s phone, there was no time stamp on the message.
