Prince Albert, Confirmed Bachelor, Marries

It was officially declared to PEOPLE by the palace of Monaco, that Prince Albert II of Monaco is going to marry Charlene Wittstock, a former swimmer from South Africa. So, ladies, this eligible confirmed bachelor will soon change his marital status.

According to the palace Press Service, everybody is extremely happy.

The 52-year-old prince and the 32-year-old former schoolteacher haven’t set the official wedding date yet. It was reported before, that the couple was seen together in public for the first time at the Winter Olympic Games in Turin in 2006 during its opening ceremonies. Charlene Wittstock moved to Monaco in 2007 after the unofficial end of her training.

According to the royal sources Wittstock had to learn protocol there. Fortunately, she had really good tutors – the prince’s sisters, Princesses Caroline and Stephanie, and she became good friends with both of them. As the sisters say, this lady instinctively feels what they expect from her.

By the way, both Wittstock and Albert were invited to the wedding ceremony of Prince Daniel Westling, Duke of Vastergotland, and Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden. They accepted the invitation and went to Stockholm.

In that episode the show organizers made an apparent accent on the amount of time the thespian forced all the stylists and photographers wait for her. The professionals were showed as kept waiting, waiting and one more time waiting for the star.

The 45-year-old star appeared at Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood Recovery on Tuesday. Though, there were a lot of famous and popular celebrities there, she was a really welcome guest – so popular and so surprising. The hosts of the concert were Faith Hill with her husband, Tim McGraw, who was Bullock’s co-star in The Blind Side. When Sandra Bullock appeared on the stage, according to some sources, the 15, 000 people practically exploded when greeted her with a standing ovation.

The star swung an ordinary acoustic guitar over the shoulder and declared to the gathered concertgoers that she was going to bring the house down and do it in Nashville style.

Sandra Bullock was performing “Smoke On the Water.” Though her first opening notes to the song seemed to be somewhat awkward, then she unexpectedly invited other popular musical offerings to join her. There were Miley Cyrus, LeAnn Rimes, Trace Adkins, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, ZZ Top, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Taylor Swift and Toby Keith among others.

Sandra Bullock Mtv Movie Awards 2010: latest news about Sandra Bullock Mtv Movie Awards 2010 updates, In a made-for-MTV moment, Scarlett Johansson and Sandra Bullock locked lips on the MTV Movie Awards 2010 show. It was during Bullock’s gracious acceptance of the “Generations Award”, which was a nice touch for MTV to award the actress after her recent troubles.

The honor bestowed Bullock a special award for her variety of roles over the years including “Speed”, “Miss Congeniality” and the latest “The Blind Side”. Presenting her with the award were Bradley Cooper, Betty White and Scarlett Johansson.

Cooper and White have both been in film with Bullock so they had some funny and kind, endearing words for Sandra. Cooper was with her in the Razzie-winning “All About Steve” and White was a co-star in “The Proposal”. White noted she loved Bullock’s early performance in “Speed” where she played a young girl addicted to amphetamines.

Cooper listed off a variety of nicknames for Bullock, and also talked of her acting skills. He asked Scarlett if she had some words she wanted to say and she shook him off saying “No I’m good.”

Bullock accepted the award and after thanking Cooper and White, asked Miss Joansson aka “Black Widow” why she was there. Scarlett said it was just in case Sandra won “Best Kiss” with Ryan Reynolds for “The Proposal” because Reynolds couldn’t be there to accept on stage.

Scarlett shyly praised Sandra’s work for such a soft kiss and then began to move closer to Bullock. It was a bit of a parody of Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep’s kiss at a previous awards show, but Scarlett Johansson and Sandra Bullock did indeed kiss.

It seems MTV is looking for publicity and buzz once again, like its previous stunt involving Sasha Baron Cohen teabagging rap star Eminem, or even the unplanned Kanye West interruption of Taylor Swift.

Regardless, it was great to see Sandra get her achievement award and if you’re part of the red-blooded male viewers, great to see the two hot Hollywood actresses lock lips! Sandra will have to kiss and tell now as to who’s better, Scarlett or Meryl!

Sandra Bullock’s ‘master plan’ to divorce Jesse James

Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock reportedly has a ‘master plan’ to divorce her estranged husband Jesse James.

“[The infidelity scandal has] broken her heart, and they will divorce, She is trying to pick her way through the mess and all the stress of knowing his three children will be hurt no matter what happens,” Fox News quoted a source as saying.

“The kids are what is holding her back from filing for the divorce immediately. It’’s been tough and she wants to find a balance for them – they deserve some stability, even through the divorce.

“With Jesse in rehab, she is trying to tread lightly. Sandra is doing this on her own timeline and refuses to budge or give in to people who say she should divorce him immediately.

“Jesse and his children are her family and in some ways always will be. She is not ready to scrap it all as fast as possible. She’’s taken some time off and plans to stay out of the spotlight. Sandra and Jesse will talk again, but divorce will happen. She has a master plan,” the source added.

Hot couture lands Nepal film in Hindu fire

After Hollywood and Bollywood, now it is the turn of Nepal’s film industry, affectionately dubbed Kollywood, to face angry action by ruffled Hindu groups.

The Vishwa Hindu Mahasangh (VHM), a pro-Hindu, formerly royalist religious group in Nepal that has close ties with India’s Bharatiya Janata Party and Vishwa Hindu Parishad, has trained its sights on a newly released action film, saying it has insulted Hindu religious sentiments.

The VHM, that is also campaigning for the restoration of Hinduism as the state religion in Nepal, has filed a complaint with the chief district officer of Kathmandu against the new release “Hifajat” (Custody) directed by Gyanendra Deuja.

The group’s feathers have been ruffled by a three-minute song sequence and a brief fight scene in which the heroine wears an outfit that is a cross between a tank top and a bikini, a scarf round her head and a strip of cloth around her waist.

All three are made of the bright yellow coloured cloth worn by Hindu mendicants with “Hare Ram Hare Krishna” and “Om Namoh Shivayo” printed all over in red.

The heroine is Rekha Thapa, famous for doing her own stunts, and voted the best actress in 2009.

Thapa hit international headlines after allegedly ticking off Bollywood villain Shakti Kapoor for misbehaving with her during a shoot and then, more famously, for attending a Maoist public protest where she sang a duet and shook a leg with Maoist chief and former prime minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.

Supported in its campaign by two other Hindu organisations, the Dharma Sanskriti Samrakshan Manch and Vishwa Hindu Yuva Sangh, the VHM says it is an insult to religious sentiments to have the holy chants “draped over sensitive parts of a woman’s body”.

The film was cleared by the censor board.

After the complaint filed last week, police have removed posters of the film from two cinemas in the capital where it was being shown and also halted the screening.

While the administration is moving gingerly due to the volatile situation in the country with the government unlikely to be able to meet a major peace deadline next month, the action however has angered Nepal’s blogging community which said religion should not be dragged into such minor issues.

“If writing chants on (the) body is against Hindu sentiments, why don’t they talk with (Bollywood actor and Hema Malini’s daughter) Esha Deol… about removing (the) Gayatri Mantra tattoo on her back?” an exasperated blogger, Xnepali.com, wanted to know.

The ‘Bounty Hunter’ star recently revealed her plans to try her hand in directing a film.

The actress is keeping mum about the details of the film but disclosed that she has a project in development.

“I have a project in development I’m going to direct,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

She added: “After you get enough movies under your belt you sit back and go, ‘What’s next?’ It’s getting to a time where creatively I want to turn in a different direction.”

Jesse James’ mistress Michelle McGee to dance topless at Las Vegas club

The mistress of Sandra Bullock’s husband Jesse James is reportedly cashing in on her notoriety with a topless appearance at the Deja Vu Showgirls club in Las Vegas.

According to People magazine, Michelle McGee is set to sign autographs, pose for pictures, and dance topless at the club on Friday.

“We”re just cashing in on her celebrity right now,” the New York Daily News quoted Larry Beard, the club’’s advertising and marketing director, as telling the mag.

McGee will be paid 5,000 dollars for the gig, plus tips.

Beard said he is expecting big crowds.

“There’’s actually a group of tattoo enthusiasts that are all going to show up. She’’s a dancer. This is right down her alley,” he said.

And Beard is unfazed by the outrage over McGee’s fling with James.

“Good publicity, bad publicity, it’’s all publicity to me. I mean, I don”t expect Sandra Bullock to show up,” he added

Sandra Bullock ‘murder plot’ bogus

The FBI says the murder plot against Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock, reportedly arranged by her husband Jesse James” so mistress Michelle McGee, is bogus, according to a report.

According to law sources, McGee’’s ex-husband Shane Modica received a call from an unknown person who claimed that McGee wanted to bump off both Bullock and Modica.

According to TMZ.com, the FBI has deemed the tip ”not credible”.

Modica also said that the caller claimed he received his killing orders before Bullock’’s husband James’’s affair with McGee came to light, reports the Sun.

The FBI reported they have had prior run-ins with the mystery caller and have since concluded the threat to be bogus.

Gemma Arterton taking break from acting to marry boyfriend

English actress Gemma Arterton is planning to take a break from acting so that she can marry her boyfriend Stefano.

Arterton is engaged to Italian stuntman who is only known by the name of Stefano, reports The Daily Express.

Stefano popped the question to the 24-year-old actress in the summer of 2009.

Arterton has admitted that they plan to get married in 2010.

“I don”t know what I”m going to do next. I”ve got a few months off – I”m getting married – but now I”m being more selective with what I”m going to do.” Arterton said.

“I always thought I was going to end up an old spinster, with my cats and my fur coats. It just takes you by surprise. It was absolutely instant. I remember going home the night after I met him and writing in my diary, ”I”ve met the man I”m going to marry”. I gave that diary entry to him for his birthday two weeks later. But it didn”t freak him out, because he was thinking the same thing. I just really want to spend the rest of my life with him. He’’s an amazing man,” Arterton said during an interview with Instyle magazine.
