Ranbir from loverboy to mature man

Ranbir Kapoor has acquired lot of fan following from his loverboy roles, and now he will be seen in a serious role in upcoming flick Rajneeti.

Ranbir says, “I have usually acted in coming-of-age dramas or done loverboy roles in my films so far. But Rajneeti is my first mature role. It is a dark political thriller and also my first character with grey shades.”

Talking about director, Prakash Jha, Ranbir says, “It was really great to work with Prakash Jha. He is one of the great directors in the industry and has contributed a lot to Indian cinema. The film has a great ensemble cast. We just finished the shooting.”

Kareena:Saif is down with 102-degree fever

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan who were busy promoting their upcoming flick Kurbaan has cancelled all their appointment, ‘coz Saif Ali Khan has fallen due to stomach infection.

Kareena says, “Poor Saif. He’s been down with a 102-degree temperature. The promotional stuff for Kurbaan has been delayed by a couple of days as he now needs to rest. Initially, we thought it could be malaria or typhoid but the tests revealed a mild stomach problem.

He loves eating outside food and has been gorging on oysters and lobsters abroad a bit much, I guess. I was worried as I couldn’t spend all day with him. I have been promoting Kurbaan and 3 Idiots and working 16 hours a day.”

Saif says,”People think it’s serious every time I fall unwell but I just had a bad bout of stomach infection this time. I am better now. I had a blood test done but it’s not malaria. I won’t have to go to hospital this time. I am resting for a couple of days.”

Aamir-Bebo get wet and wild

Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor will be seen getting hot and wild in their upcoming flick 3 Idiots.

Kareena Kapoor, who is acting opposite Aamir Khan for the first time is in dilemma about promoting her both movies Kurbaan and 3 Idiots.

Bebo says, “Both Saif and Aamir are very dear to me. I think I’ve created magic with both co-stars and it is impossible for me to choose one over the other.”

Aamir who also romanced Bebo’s elder sister Karishma Kapoor,says, “Kareena is one of the most beautiful actresses that we have today. She is also a very good friend and we have both worked very hard on this rain song. I hope people like it.”

3 Idiots will be hitting the theaters on 25th December.

Katrina doesn’t wish Ash on her birthday

Katrina Kaif is usually chirpy and nice, but the mere mention of her boyfriend Salman’s ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai miffs her, to an extreme that she refused to wish Ash on her birthday yesterday.

Katrina and Ranbir were giving television interviews to television reporters about their upcoming flick Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, when a reporter asked Ranbir to wish Aishwarya on her birthday, Ranbir obliged and wished Aishwarya a very happy birthday. When the reporter turned to Katrina and asked her to do the same she flatly refused insisting that she doesn’t need to wish the actress birthday as Ranbir has already wished her.

After the interview session, Katrina rushed to her vanity van and refused to come out even after 45 minutes.

Well I don’t blame her, girlfriends are bound to get angry on the mention of their boyfriend’s ex-girlfriends. Agree with me girls?

Salman Khan sells London Dreams tickets

It’s the latest way of promoting a flick, Salman Khan after the success of Wanted in single screen theatres, has turned a ticket seller in singe screen theater – Delite to promote and sell the tickets of his upcoming flick London Dreams.

Salman who said at the booking clerk’s table to sell advanced autographed tickets of London Dreams to fans says, “It was Vipul’s idea to connect with audience.Every film needs promotion and it should be done differently for movie.”

London Dreams will hit theatres on October 30. Do you think the movie will be a hit?

Is it Splitsvilla for Ranbir-Deepika?

All’s not well in Ranbir-Deepika’s paradise, with constant tiffs and misunderstanding the couple are avoiding each other.

Two years back Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone were madly in love with each other, both of them could’nt take off their eyes from each other, however today they don’t see eye-to-eye.

They attend the same parties, but behave like strangers and to top off it all they are always linked to their co-stars.

Rensil:Kareena is backless not topless

Kareena Kapoor has not gone topless for her upcoming movie Kurbaan’s poster, according to director Rensil she has just gone backless.

Director Rensil D’Silva says, “It is a scene from the film. I don’t think it is different from what you will see on Channel [V] or any music video. It is just a lady’s back and a guy’s bare body.

If you look at it closely, you’ll see that she’s backless, not topless. We have used high levels of prosthetics in this film to show intensity like gunshot wounds.

This picture has a lot of relevance to the film and that’s why we thought it was appropriate to make this the film’s poster.”

“My favourite scene is the poster scene. That depicts the whole film. That some love stories have blood on them gets evident from this poster.”

Kurbaan also starrs Saif Ali Khan, Vivek Oberoi,Diya Mirza and Kirron Kher.
