3 Militants Killed In Swaziristan Rah-e-Nijat Operation

WANA, News Update: Three militants were killed and eight others injured in ongoing operation Rah –e- Nijat in South Waziristan.

The clashes occurred between militants and security forces in Asman Manza, Makeen and Ladha areas, said sources. Three militants were killed and eight others wounded during these clashes. Security forces took control of more then 100 hideouts of militants whereas huge arms cache and explosives were also recovered and at least 600 militants have been killed so far during operation started on October 17.

This morning I heard the story of Mitrice Richardson of California. She is a 24 year old black woman who was arrested last week at a Malibu restaurant when she did not have enough money to pay her bill. The police searched her car and found a small amount of marijuana. The car was impounded and she was taken to the police station. She was released at about 1AM and she reportedly had no money on her. That was September 17th she has not been seen since. “In an interview, her father, Michael Richardson, questioned the Sheriff’s Department’s decision to release her without knowing for certain whether she was intoxicated or had arranged for transportation. “They allowed her to walk out of that facility and down that road in the pitch black night,” he said. “That’s not right. Now, I just want to find my child.” Her parents along with their lawyer appeared on the Today Show. I commend the Today Show for bringing attention to this case. I can not help but think of the amount of media that the Annie Le case received. She was the Yale medical student that was seen entering a lab at the university and not seen leaving it. The police reportedly worked on this story by their own account 24/7 and they found a suspect. This girl was allowed to walk out into the night unescorted. They had her car so they knew she had no means of transportation. Her lawyer suggested if her name had been Lohan or Spears she would have received a ride home. Lauer asked her mother whether Letrice was “street savvy”. Her mother said no she was not she actually had lived a sheltered life full of positive things. I am going to give Lauer the benefit of the doubt. The term street savvy indicates knowledge of the street. It is someone who knows all the angles and has the ability to make something out of nothing. Middle class and upper middle class black children are really no more street smart than their white counterparts. Supposedly the LA police department is widening their search. My hope is that Mitrice is found but we should have heard about her case before today. The question is why didn’t we?

The latest update of Annie Le’s murder is that she was suffocated! Everyday a new update about Annie Le brings something new. The lab technician, Raymond Clark III has become the ‘person of interest’, says police. The Ivey-League-Campus mystery continues.

Annie Le who was a pharmacology student was on some assignment with the Yale laboratory, conducting experiments on mice. Raymond Clark’s job as an Animal Services Technician in the same lab put the two in contact. Both were a part of an ‘enzyme research team’ headed by Anton Bennett (faculty adviser).

Not only Raymond Clark III but his fiancé, brother-in-law and a sister, all are serving the Yale lab in the capacity of lab technicians.

The investigators had been focusing Clark at least since Monday when the police had raided his apartment building. As per the neighbors’ views, Clark and Jennifer Hromadka, the going-to-be Mrs. Clark and also a lab technician at Yale, left the flat at or around the time Annie Le’s body was found, interesting.

The body of poor pharmacology student was found distended behind the basement wall, an area where lab animals are kept. The cause of death so far has been determined ‘traumatic asphyxiation’ verified by the Connecticut State Medical Examiner. Now how she died, police have no clue to it yet but shocking asphyxiation due to a choke hold or pressure-induced oxygen deprivation could be consistent in Le’s case. It is also being presumed that some object other than human hand such as a pipe, a rope or anything else could have been involved.

Co-incidentally, both Annie Le and Raymond Clark III had same aged (24 years, the day Le died) but the sharp contrast between a 4’-9” slender female and a mail having a masculine mannish structure, would have made it relevantly easy for Clark to finish the job. The initial investigations have reproduced yet another fact regarding Raymond Clark III that he has already been accused of proving irksome to a girlfriend at his high school.
