With musical influences covering the scope of music from Minnie Ripperton, Teedra Moses, The Doors and Prince just to name a few, the 23-year-old songstress is a musical force to be reckoned with and just might be the most played artist on your iPod in the very near future.

Minnesota native and raised in Willis, Texas she moved to New York City after college to pursue her singing career. She began to make the rounds amongst the New York artist circuit, singing at the popular Maria Davis artist showcase, R&B legends Nick Ashford & Valerie Simpson’s Sugar Bar and performing at every open mic night that she could get to. Her hard work paid off when she was given the opportunity to tour as a back-up singer with Def Jam Recording artist Chrisette Michele along side Musiq Soulchild on the “LuvanMusiq” tour and Raheem Devaughn on the “The Art of Love” tour.

Fast forward to 2009 and Michelle is currently working on her first solo project, A Cinderella Story, scheduled for release Spring 2010, and is more than ready to prove to the industry, to her fans and to the world that her gift of song and the art of performance is definitely not a fairytale.

Jimmy Rollins Girlfriend, Johari Smith: James Rollins is an All-Star and MVP shortstop for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball.

Though Rollins has developed into a five-tool player during his career due to significant increases in his power hitting, he is perhaps best known for his baserunning skills. He has stolen at least 20 bases every season since 2001, with a career high of 47 in 2008. This emulates Rollins’ childhood baseball hero, Rickey Henderson.

Rollins comes from an athletic family, as his brother, Antwon, formerly played with minor league affiliates of the Texas Rangers and the Montreal Expos.His sister, Shay Rollins, is a starter on the University of San Francisco’s women’s basketball team,and Rollins is the cousin of former MLB player Tony Tarasco.

Rollins also attended the same high school (Encinal High School) as Detroit Tigers pitcher Dontrelle Willis.

Rollins is a resident of Woolwich Township, New Jersey.
Jimmy Rollins is one of the most dapper Phillies, and he and girlfriend Johari Smith will appear in a Playboy fashion feature, most likely in the June issue and on video on Playboy’s Web site.

Horror film remake Sorority Row is certainly marketing its assets with the plethora of newly released screen captures and promotional pictures of Briana Evigan, Leah Pipes, Rumer Willis, Jamie Chung, Margo Harshman, Audrina Patridge, and Caroline D’ Amore. Sorority Row looks generic as hell with an inexplicable plot twist that begins the mayhem:

Garrett (Matt O’Leary) thinks he killed his girlfriend Megan (Audrina Patridge), who is only pretending to be dead, and decides to drive a tire jack through her chest.

This is one of those logic pot holes we are just supposed to except. Most advertising execs would not be asinine enough to place this major logic fluctuation in their main movie trailer. Obviously, someone said the hell with it and included it. Sorority Row opens on October 2, 2009.
