If the first few scenes of this episode are any indication from here on out The Hills is going to be all about Kristin Cavallari. First, we see Lauren “Lo” Bosworth briefing Stephanie Pratt and Audrina Patridge about K.Cav. As Lo so eloquently put it, “She is not afraid to get in your face, not afraid to stand up for herself… she’s easy to get in a fight with.”

They recall that at some point in the past K.Cav put the slap down on Lauren Conrad outside of a club. Still, Audrina decides that she’s going to “give her the benefit of the doubt.” Umm, Audrina I’m pretty sure you’re going to want that back by the time Kristin is done with you.

Then we see the newlyweds Spencer and Heidi riding in a car. Spencer briefly brags about having two bottles of tequila for their upcoming “welcome back” party. Then, of course, their conversation turns to Kristin. Spencer first predicts that, “Justin Bobby is gonna get swooped” before considering that ex boy-friend Brody may in Kristin’s cross hairs as well. He then labels K.Cav “the real deal female player.” I begin to see where this whole thing is going.

Then we get Brody and his current girlfriend Jayde preparing for the welcome back bash. When Jayde admits that she’s not that into meeting Kristin, Brody hits her with this gem, “You gotta watch out for her but she’s cool.” Surprisingly, this seems to work for Jayde.

Finally in scene four we see the girl that no one can stop talking about exiting her house in Malibu. After a few gratuitous denim cutoff and leg shots we see her face as she hops in her car and peels off for the party.

Fast forward to the party. Spencer arrives with his aforementioned tequila. Audrina’s ex Justin Bobby arrives but surpisingly doesn’t say hello to her. Kristin arrives. Stephanie Pratt says, “Jayde is not going to want to see Kristin.” Thank you Einstein.

K. Cav makes a beeline for Justin Bobby. Stephanie jumps to Audrina’s defense and about 10 minutes into the episode the first fight ensues. Kristin yells, “If its gonna be like this, it’s on bitch. You’re fucking with the wrong girl, dude.” How lady like.

Audrina labels Kristin a”psycho bitch” and decides that she’s ready to retract that benefit of the doubt. “That’s it! I do not like her,” she announces.

Sometime after the party Stephanie invites Audrina to Frankie b-day fiesta but Audrina foresees another brawl with the “psycho bitch” and decides to pass.

Heidi and Spencer go house hunting and end up at a Brentwood house with a bright red door. Spencer’s wearing a cowboy hat… and boots. Heidi gets all excited to see the “nursery.”

During Frankie’s birthday party at Pinches Tacos, Lo and Stephanie watch in horror as Kristin and Stacey “The Bartender” flirt shamelessly with Justin Bobby. JB keeps downplaying his relationship with Audrina saying they were never really together. Stacey calls her “a stage five clinger.” This chick only had one line all episode but it was a good one.

Lo wisely decides that she’s going to keep being friends K.Cav because she don’t want no drama. By the fiesta’s end JB and Kristin have decided to go on a date.

Speidi goes see another house and luckily this time Spencer isn’t wearing his all cowboy all the time outfit. Heidi isn’t down with the nursery free “party pad.” Naturally her hubby informs her that he’s already put a deposit down on the place. She’s not happy.

Stephanie and Lo AKA the bearers of bad news touch down at Audrina’s house to fill her in on what happened at Frankie’s b-day. Over a bottle of wine hey tell her that K.Cav and JB were cozying up and suggest that they probably went home together. Audrina looks ill, very very ill.

In the final scene of the ep. Kristin and JB actually go on their date. K.Cav tells him that she questioned whether or not to come because she can tell that Audrina still loves him which was endearing for about five seconds. Then she just so happened to mention that she has a great bed and she and Justin Bobby joke about breaking it in.
