Who Was The First Lady to Conquer Mt. Everest: latest news about updates , To the surprise of many when they ask: who was the first lady to conquer Mt. Everest? The answer is that of a Japanese woman who goes by the name of Junko Tabei. Junko Tabei was born on the twenty-third day of May seventy one years ago in the annum of 1939. Junko has been involved in this sport for the better half of her life and has even been involved in opening a mountainclimbing club just for girls in Japan. The club was formed when Junko was thirty years of age and it was called the Ladies Climbing Club.

Everest, don’t say I didn’t tell you, and that’s not all, Junko has climbed other mountains as well including Matterhorn which is located in the Alps in Switzerland and then of course the tallest mountain in her own homeland which is the place of pilgrimage for many as well: Mount Fuji.
